I spent some time in the garden this afternoon, doing my small bit to keep the place looking pretty.
As we are going into winter now, a blanket of chilly damp air descend quickly near the end of each afternoon. And as my health is not strong, when I had finished with everything outside I needed to jump into a hot shower to stop the cold air from seeping into my chest.
Fast forward to my exiting the bathroom, and seeing this little face peeping around the corner. He actually gave me a fright, until I saw this….

I saw this – aw, look at his little paws tucked up against the wall. How sweet is that, just tucked up tight, and waiting for me to come out and be on the go, again.

Um, well, he’s obviously not in a hurry for me to be on the go again.

And this just cracks me up, because no matter how many photos I take of him, from any angle, he just isn’t phased in the least. That’s really being comfortable in your own skin.

Don't Bug Me!
Just in case you were wondering, since I was……..
Roaching – “A dog that lays on its back with all four legs in the air–like a dead cockroach–is commonly described as “roaching.”
I had to go and look it up.

Ha ha ha, thanks Bugs, it did pull me up short for a second to think, but then it came to me (only ’cause of reading it on EM’s blog previously) – I am just laughing to myself, so much.. thinking of English Mum’s expression/reaction when she reads your comment. Bertie and Taj just might get on, seeing as they both love a bit of….. roaching?

English Mum – see, you continously educate us. Sending many thoughts your way, especially concerning the celebrant for your wedding blessing. Big hugs. xxx

If you have a strong lower back, it is actually very comfy – yes, I have tried it. My secret is out – I’ve picked up all my best moves from the dog. They say you grow like the people you live with, and you grow like your dog, well… he has rubbed off onto me, perhaps a bit too much – woof!

Ah he is so sweet! Hippie just sits outside the bathroom howling while i’m in the shower – then when I open the door she ‘roaches’ (?) at my feet. i think she’s just trying to trip me up!

Aw Kate, she sounds like she misses you, even though she knows you’re still there. I’d be worried if taj tried to trip me up like that, as he’d be sure to get me to fall, he almost succeeded in doing so just yesterday when we were playing chasey. Thankfully he doesn’t mind being in the bathroom while I shower, he never gets the least bit impatient, but sometimes he does like to sit on any of my clothes that he can. I hope that means I smell good.

Kate: I have to leave the door open when I’m in the bath or I can’t relax because Bert’s whining drives me mental. He wanders in a licks my face every ten minutes. Greyhounds eh? Mad.

English Mum – Oh please, steal it all the time, everyday in fact, honestly. You know I love reading your thoughts – hugs!
I completely know where you are coming from, with Bertie and the bath business. Though Taj isn’t quite the same he is developing a terrible habit for the whining (just plain spoilt is the problem, but we love him to be happy). I have an example which is even worse than your bath kisses.. though I hate to admit it in public, our door handle for the toilet is broken (no that isn’t what I hate to admit, but it is bad enough) and sometimes Taj will whine, and push at the door, and push his nose in, before whining some more and flopping down to the floor in a huffy heap. He doesn’t want to come in, he just wants his feelings to be known. Dingos, I tells ya?!
