English Mum is setting us all a new challenge each week. And her first assignment is to photograph the contents of your fridge. But, I think it should become a new insult. Instead of ‘what’s got up yer nose?’, it could be ‘what’s got into your fridge?’. Hmm?
Ooh very neat – and well stocked too. Are they croissants I spot there? And ginger beer! How very Famous Five of you!!
And what’s the yellow stuff in the plastic box above the ham? xx
Okay, so did you tidy up the frig before taking the pic? You bet I would! Oh so personal, like saying ‘What’s in yer knicker drawer!’
Yours (frig that is) looks very nice!
You constantly crack me up English Mum, Famous Five? How cute, I’m touched. Oh, yellow stuff..is, in fact sliced pineapple in it’s juices. I’ve been making healthy burgers and like a slice of pineapple on the burger. Wonder what your next assignment will be !
A Simple Yarn, actually I opened the fridge, it looked pretty good, and hopefully interesting, and so I took the snap. If it looked messy, I might have waited. We do try to keep it tidy, otherwise we lose everything in there, and I think the size of the fridge really helps, as it’s larger than normal, and I have you to thank for it.. yes, as it is an American fridge (very unusual to see a USA fridge in Oz). Bet your fridge would look really exciting. x
Ooh pineapple in a burger? I’m going to have to try that now. Hmmm…maybe I should take Simple Yarn’s suggestion and go for the knicker drawer?! xx
Haha . .you’re brave. I’m still building up the energy to ‘clean’ mine before contributing. At the moment, there’s little in it but a load of curry paste and 2 litres of milk! Are we Aussies the only ones in the world that put pineapple and beetroot in our burgers . . I think so!
It does look tidy – mine is loaded with guinea pig food, greyhound food, cat food – oh and the occasional bottle of milk or wine.
The freezer on the other hand – is full of my stuff!!!!
Ha ha, yep, you’re right Baino. I think we are the only ones to add pineapple and beetroot, but it’s just not right without them.
I was going to mention the beetroot to English Mum, but thought she might find us too strange. Thanks for the comment !
Your pets must be the happiest animals around Kate. They sound so well loved. And I know you’re an amazing cook, so maybe you could post a picutre of your freezer instead? xx
